About Us
Susana Ramsey - Licensed Owner/Instructor
I was born in Chile and immigrated to Canada in 1974. I was raised in a bilingual home; hence I have remained fluent in Spanish.
My love for fitness and dance, particularly Latin dance, began over 20 years ago
as a teen. In my professional career, I have worked as a biochemical engineer, a
software consultant and project manager. My degrees include B.Sc. in Biochemistry,
B.A. Sc. in Chemical Engineering and an MBA. I moved to Durham, North Carolina in October 2001 from
Toronto to wed my husband, Scott. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom of 2 girls and 1 boy
(my newest Salsa Tot). Given my love for fitness, dance and children, I became a
licensed owner and instructor of Salsa Babies in May 2006. I added Salsa Tots to
my repertoire in March 2007 and plan to expand further with Salsa Kids starting
in September 2008.
